Helene Fischer sings for Disney Christmas movie "Wish"
Pop star Helene Fischer dominates the German charts, fills stadiums and is now once again collaborating with the mega corporation Disney. She is contributing a song to the animation company's Christmas film. It will be available to listen to online before the box office launch of "Wish".
Fans of Helene Fischer should get their movie tickets now: The pop star will be featured in the upcoming Disney Christmas movie "Wish". The US media company has announced that the trained musical actress will sing the end credits song "Weil der Wunsch es wert ist". The animated film will be released in German cinemas on November 30.
If you can't wait that long, you should mark November 17 in your calendar. That's when the song and the complete "Wish" soundtrack will be available for download on all known streaming platforms. This is not Helena Fischer's first collaboration with Disney: she already performed the song "Ich bin bereit" for the German version of the film "Vaiana" in 2016.
In the film, directed by Oscar winner Chris Buck ("The Ice Queen"), 17-year-old Asha (voiced by Ariana DeBose) and her goat Valentino embark on a journey through Rosas - a magical place where wishes come true. It is under threat from the evil King Magnifico (Chris Pine). A cosmic force in the form of an energy ball called Star (Alan Tudyk) could help her.
Helene Fischer's collaboration with Disney continues, as she sings for the end credits of the upcoming Christmas movie "Wish". This isn't her first time working with Disney; she previously performed "Ich bin bereit" for the German version of "Vaiana" in 2016. If you're a fan of both Helene Fischer and Disney entertainment, you won't want to miss this new movie.
