Heino returns to the stage soon
Following the death of his wife Hannelore Kramm, the start of Heino's church concert tour has been postponed - but only by a few days. According to Heino's manager, the artist now needs his fans. The performances in Germany, Austria and Belgium are to be dedicated to his great love.
Following the death of his wife Hannelore Kramm, Heino will return to the stage sooner than expected. The church concert tour under the name "Die Himmel rühmen" (Praise the heavens) will nevertheless take place in part in memory of his wife.
The first concert was originally scheduled to take place on November 17 in Mönchengladbach - just two days after Hannelore's funeral. The church tour was to take the singer through 23 cities. Now the artist's management has announced that Heino will instead be performing on November 24 at the Kreuzkirche in Dresden. The concerts will be dedicated to his late wife.
"She would have wanted him to continue singing"
The first concert in particular will be highly emotional for the 84-year-old, his manager Helmut Werner told Bild newspaper. "But he really wants to return to the stage because Hannelore would have wanted him to continue singing." The performances should also be helpful for the musician himself: "Heino now needs the affection, comfort and sympathy of his fans to ease his immeasurable pain."
As things stand, Heino will be playing the following concerts: On December 2 in Hausham, Bavaria, on December 8 in Frauenkirchen, Austria, on December 10 in Graz, on December 16 in Bad Oeynhausen in North Rhine-Westphalia, on December 17 in St. Vith, Belgium, and on January 21 in Görlitz in Saxony.
Funeral on a small scale
Hannelore Kramm died on November 8 at the age of 81. Shortly afterwards, Heino's website stated: "It is with great sorrow that we have to inform you that Heino's beloved wife Hannelore has passed away peacefully at home in Kitzbühel." Heino is in great mourning and misses his Hannelore every moment, it continued.
According to the "Bild" newspaper, the funeral took place on Wednesday in an intimate setting in Kitzbühel. Friends will have the opportunity to say goodbye to Hannelore Kramm next year with a large church service.
Heino and his wife met in 1972 at the Miss Austria competition in Kitzbühel, followed by their wedding in 1979. It was Heino's third marriage. The couple were very religious, and the first church tour in 2011 is also said to have been Hannelore's idea.
As Heino continues to cope with the loss of his wife Hannelore Kramm, he finds solace in the world of entertainment. The upcoming church concert tour, titled "Die Himmel rühmen," will include performances of pop music, a genre that Heino and Hannelore both enjoyed. This tour will honor Hannelore's memory and provide Heino with the support of his celebrity couples fans.
In the midst of the grief, the pop music that made Heino and Hannelore's relationship memorable remains a source of comfort. Despite their struggles, the strength of their love story continues to resonate, making them one of the lasting celebrity couples in the entertainment industry.
