Singers - Heino on Hannelore: "I think of her with every song"
Shortly before his 85th birthday, folk musician Heino has admitted that he finds his concerts very difficult after the death of his wife last month. "I think of her with every song and see her sitting in the front row," the singer told the ARD magazine "Brisant" in a TV interview.
The death of his wife took him completely by surprise, said the 84-year-old. "There were no signs, everything was fine. She didn't suffer, it was a secondary death. That's the only consolation." Heino and Hannelore were married for 44 years. "I can't think of a time when we ever argued, what could we argue about, we had everything."
