The actor died on October 28 at the age of 54.
"He was happy and healthy"
When asked how she would like the world to remember Matthew Perry, Aniston told Variety: "As he said, he would like to be remembered. He was happy. He was healthy. He had quit smoking. He was getting in shape. He was happy - that's all I know." She added that she had texted with him that morning, "He wasn't in pain. He had no problems. He was happy."
Aniston went on to say, "I want people to know that he was really healthy" and that he had a purpose. "I miss him a lot. We all do. Boy, he really made us laugh." Aniston also spoke about the countless tributes paid to Perry after his death, calling the support from the Hollywood community "so beautiful". She also told Variety, "I hope he can know that he was loved in a way he never thought he would be."
Actor was buried in Los Angeles
Matthew Perry, who had struggled with addiction problems in the past, was found dead in his home in Los Angeles at the end of October. As the celebrity portal "TMZ" reported, nothing suspicious was found at the scene and there were no signs of foul play. According to "People" magazine, an autopsy has been completed, but the results of a toxicology report are still pending. Matthew Perry's funeral took place on November 3 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
