"Kevin - Home Alone" star Macaulay Culkin - He now has a star on the Walk of Fame

More than 30 years ago he was all alone at home, but now Macaulay Culkin (43) was surrounded by colleagues and loved ones on the Hollywood Walk of Fame when he was honored with his own star. His film mother Catherine O'Hara (69) explained how proud she was of him.

The US actor, who became a star at a young age with the cult comedy "Kevin - Home Alone", was honored with the 2,765 star on the Walk of Fame on 1 December. O'Hara, who played Culkin's mother in the first two "Kevin" films, said during the ceremony as a speaker, "'Kevin Home Alone' was, is and always will be a beloved, worldwide sensation." The reason families around the world watch the first installment in particular every year is because of Culkin. He delivered a "perfect performance" - and even though she knows he worked hard for it, he made it look like "acting is the most natural thing in the world".

"I'm so proud of you," O'Hara concluded, addressing Culkin, who deserved his star on the Walk of Fame. After a hug, the actor wiped a few tears from his face and was followed by a witty speech from his colleague Natasha Lyonne (44).

Also in attendance were actor Seth Green (49) and Paris Jackson (25), among others. Culkin is the godfather of Michael Jackson's (1958-2009) daughter. His family was also present, including Culkin's sister Quinn (39), his brother Rory (34), his partner Brenda Song (35) and their two sons.
