Harry and Meghan are desperate to go to Hollywood

Will Los Angeles be the new home for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan? Apparently, the couple are considering a move to be closer to Hollywood. Their current villa in Montecito or their former dream location of Malibu are said to be too far away.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan apparently want to live closer to the action. As the US portal "TMZ" reports, the couple are apparently currently discussing a move to Los Angeles to be closer to Hollywood. According to an insider, Harry and Meghan have decided to stop looking for a house in Malibu. Instead, L.A. is now the new preferred place to live.

However, they have not yet viewed any houses there, but are interested in various districts of Los Angeles. The couple currently live in Montecito on the coast of California. However, this is now probably too far away from the action in Hollywood, where they attend many events. Malibu, which had been under discussion as their preferred place of residence, is also still too far away.

As "TMZ" claims to have learned from insiders, privacy and community are two very important points on the list that the new place of residence should agree on. They had concerns about this in Malibu after a property they visited became a magnet for paparazzi and journalists.

"They were so happy"

Harry and Meghan apparently have fond memories of Los Angeles: in 2020, the two are said to have lived in media mogul Tyler Perry's Beverly Hills mansion for a few weeks after retiring from the British royal family. Perry recently spoke about this time in a podcast after the couple broke away from the royal family in the UK and wanted to move to the US.

The media mogul claimed that Harry and Meghan spent a "long time hiding out at my house". It was "so great", recalls Tyler Perry. Nobody noticed anything for weeks. "They were so happy. It was such a beautiful moment," says Perry. Harry and Meghan later bought their own property, reportedly worth 14 million US dollars (around 12.9 million euros), in Montecito, California, where they currently live with their son Archie and daughter Lilibet.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's fond memories of Los Angeles may influence their decision to move closer. During their time in 2020, they lived happily in media mogul Tyler Perry's Beverly Hills mansion, providing them with a much-desired sense of privacy.

Relocating to Los Angeles could provide Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan with easier access to Hollywood's entertainment scene, which they Hadmissibly missed during their time in the UK.
