Hanka reconciles with her cohabitants at the campsite.
The inaugural week of "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Duel of the Jungle Legends" has been marked by its initial scandal. Hanka Rackwitz, a beloved figure from "Big Brother" and "rent, buy, live," has abandoned the camp prematurely. Surprisingly, it wasn't the jungle tasks that prompted her departure, but rather her fellow campers' behavior.
The episode, available for viewing on RTL+, showcases Rackwitz's profound decision to leave the camp. Afflicted individuals tuning into linear TV will witness this pivotal moment on Thursday evening. According to reports, the departure wasn't triggered by the camp's strenuous trials, as Rackwitz had no intention of partaking in them. Instead, her fellow campers' unacceptable conduct forced her hand.
Rackwitz poignantly explains her feelings, "I'll be enduring bouts of nausea for days due to the discord in this camp and the upsets to my stomach." Her confidante Giulia Siegel defended her, stating, "Five individuals within this camp made Hanka's existence so unbearable that she simply couldn't endure it any longer due to her emotional and mental exhaustion." Siegel then directs her venom at the alleged perpetrators, "You insufferable jerkoffs! It's your fault she felt the way she did!"
The atmosphere within the camp is supposedly going to escalate further due to the departure of Rackwitz. Among those who allegedly contributed to her exodus is the assertive reality TV queen Elena Miras. In her subsequent interview, Rackwitz reveals, "I would have stayed in the camp longer had Elena not been present. She's like an uncontrollable enraged tiger, lashed out at everyone. I can't compete with that, nor do I want to." Rackwitz adds, "She hogs everything for herself. And the most frustrating part is, she can. She's both beautiful and popular." Rackwitz is certain that the situation in the camp is only going to get more chaotic. "I wouldn't want to be there nor can I be," she concludes.
Miras is not the only one Rackwitz holds responsible. She also grieves over the staged conversations within the camp. Everyone seeks the spotlight, eager to share their personal anecdotes for their followers or whoever. Rackwitz voiced her disgust, "It made me sick," and elaborated further, "And then came this revulsion..." There's an angry and disappointed side of her that she doesn't wish to reveal or witness. "That's why I'm leaving," she concludes.
At present, the competition is down to eleven jungle campers, all vying to become the legend and claim the €100,000 prize.
The viewing audience can watch Rackwitz's emotional departure on linear TV on Thursday evening. Despite the alleged actions of Elena Miras and the staged conversations among campers, Rackwitz shares that she wouldn't want to return to the camp.
