Displaying a quarrel - Halmich reflects on his battle with Raab, pondering for a month and a half.
Ex-Profiboxer, Regina Halmich, recently disclosed that she took more time deciding on her face-off with entertainer Stefan Raab than initially assumed. "The real deal is: It actually took around three weeks," remarked the 47-year-old at the Television Congress Screenforce Day Festival in Düsseldorf relating to the clash. This epic event is scheduled for September 14 in Düsseldorf and will air on RTL. "Initially, I gave it a lot of thought. I even questioned, what drives him to go to that extent? We all ponder over that."
Halmich continued, "However, I decided it could be a win-win situation. And if he's willing to engage in the ring for the third time, I'll give it a shot." In no time, the presales went through the roof. "That's unreal, this is going to be enormous. Stefan is more than 30 kilos heavier than me. This match is going to be fiery. It'll be spectacular!" She hasn't competed in the ring since 2003. "I'm back training with my previous coach. I wouldn't undertake this if I didn't have faith in myself. I need to make it happen."
Raab retired from the spotlight in 2015
Raab is making a TV comeback with this confrontation after a hiatus from the industry. Since 2015, he's been toiling away out of the limelight. In 2018, he made an appearance at a Cologne stage show, but it wasn't aired on television.
The past TV host (57, "TV total") has dueled Halmich twice-in 2001 and 2007. In both events, he was defeated by her, and was broken-nosed once. The initial two duels were broadcast on ProSieben. The soon-to-be-aired battle is named "The Clark Final Fight" by RTL.
