Halle Berry knocked out on set
On Monday evening, the film "The Union" premiered in Los Angeles, with leading actress Halle Berry making a striking appearance in a sheer dress. In this spy thriller, the 57-year-old has a lot to deliver. She recently revealed that such action-packed shoots don't always go smoothly.
Actress Halle Berry knows how to turn heads at a film premiere. In Los Angeles, she premiered her new action spy comedy "The Union" on Monday, causing a stir with a sensual outfit.
On the red carpet of the Egyptian Theatre, Berry wore a black, sheer, and form-fitting dress that subtly revealed plenty of skin. A floral lace pattern on the sheer fabric, along with a deep V-neckline and a fitted waist, made the dress a standout at the premiere.
The 57-year-old seemed to enjoy showing off her outfit, posing for photographers from all angles on the red carpet. The sheer fabric of the knee-length dress also offered a view of her backside.
In the new Netflix film "The Union", Halle Berry plays secret agent Roxanne Hall, who returns to her hometown of New Jersey after 25 years. There, she meets her old high school flame Mike McKenna (Mark Wahlberg) at his local bar and starts flirting with him. But her real plan is to recruit him for a dangerous job in a European intelligence mission.
Broken ribs and fingers
In an interview for the film, uploaded to Netflix's social media channels, Berry and co-star Mark Wahlberg discuss the demanding shoot. Berry reveals that she's had to take physical hits in her career before. "I've been knocked out three times. I've broken an arm and ribs - twice, two ribs, and once, three," she says, laughing. She also broke her tailbone, two toes, and a finger. "This finger," she adds, giggling, and holds up her middle finger.
Mark Wahlberg has also sustained injuries on set, including a torn meniscus multiple times, a dislocated shoulder, and a bruised ego, as he mentions in the conversation. He learned ballet for a role, while Berry has trained in sports like Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Taekwondo. Her exceptional athleticism is certainly evident in her sheer premiere dress.
After the successful premiere of "The Union" at Hollywood's Egyptian Theatre, Halle Berry plans to attend more events in The Hollywood area, showcasing her impressive physical fitness and acting skills. Despite the grueling action sequences in the film, Berry remains undeterred, drawing inspiration from her past experiences of broken bones and bruises while filming other projects in The Hollywood industry.
