Halle Berry celebrates skin-deep 'Catwoman' anniversary

Halle Berry has reason to celebrate. Twenty years ago, the Oscar winner donned the iconic role of Patience Phillips - alias Catwoman. In a tight latex suit and with cat ears, the now 57-year-old actress showed the claws in the cinema. "Today it's 20 years since I had the honor to bring this iconic character to life. She will always be close to my heart, and I will always be Patience Phillips alias Catwoman!", writes the Hollywood star on Instagram.
She also posts some snapshots of herself dressed appropriately for the occasion. More precisely: undressed. Besides a leather mask and a small black string thong, she wears nothing. Only boots and Coco and Kitty, two adorable kitten babies that have recently joined her, protect Berry's bare breasts.
"Catwoman" was received differently by critics
Between her current photos, she sneaks in some old set photos from the "Catwoman" film, in which she wears the famous latex suit. Upon closer inspection, Halle Berry has no reason to be shy about the direct comparison between then and now.
Many of her 8.6 million followers feel the same way. "So hot!", "You look better than ever", or "Flawless" are just three of countless compliments in the comment section. Many fans believe Berry was the best Catwoman actress. "The only true Catwoman!", writes a follower. Another: "You were the best!" The award givers of the feared "Golden Raspberry", or Anti-Oscars, saw it differently. The film received four awards - for the worst film, worst direction, and worst screenplay. Berry also received a "Golden Raspberry" as the worst actress.
