Kai Havertz got married after the UEFA European Championship. On Instagram, the soccer player shared several pictures, in which they are seen in front of Schloss Bensberg in Bergisch Gladbach with his bride Sophia. She is wearing a tightly fitted white neckline dress with a high thigh slit in the photos, Havertz a dark suit with a white shirt and collar. In another picture, Sophia is seen in a white bridal gown.

The football star also revealed that the wedding took place on the previous Thursday. He wrote to the pictures with a heart emoji: "18.07.24 - forever". His newly-wedded wife has changed her name on Instagram, where she has over 500,000 followers, to Sophia Havertz. In her stories, she wrote to one of the wedding pictures: "My husband". On their Instagram profiles, numerous congratulations from fans and prominent colleagues are already accumulating.

Kai Havertz and Sophia have been engaged for a year

Their engagement was also announced on Instagram. Last summer, the soccer player shared a couple photo, in which they are seen looking in love against a seascape backdrop. Havertz added a ring and heart emoji at the time.

Kai Havertz started his career in 2016 with Bayer 04 Leverkusen and later joined Chelsea FC. Since July 2023, the German national player has been under contract with Arsenal FC.

Kai Havertz's Instagram announcement of his engagement last summer generated a lot of excitement among his 500,000 followers. His fiancée, now wife Sophia Havertz, referred to him as her husband in one of her Instagram stories. Kai Havertz, currently under contract with Arsenal FC, celebrated his wedding at Schloss Bensberg in Bergisch Gladbach following the Football European Championship.
