His partner announced his passing on their shared TikTok account. Numerous colleagues shared memories and loving words for the deceased. "My heart grieves. I cry and I can't seem to stop," writes Pia Tillmann (38) on her Instagram channel.

She met Ochsenknecht in 2010 during the filming of "X-Diaries" and started working with him on "BTN" a year later. "The best part: We got to experience it together, live our dream together," they write in reference to shared photos. The duo often spent hours together on the balcony discussing life. "I couldn't wish for a better chaotic person by my side! You will be sorely missed!", Tillmann concluded her emotional message.

"A kind-hearted person"

Other former "Berlin - Tag & Nacht" actors remembered their colleague in their Instagram stories. "It hits me so hard! The world knew you as 'Ole without Coal', but for me, you were Falko! A kind-hearted person who touched so few with your true self," writes Jenefer Riili (31), who played Alessia on "BTN" until 2015. "Working with you on set was always so much fun," laments Kim actor Nathalie Bleicher-Woth (27) and Tim (26) as they pay tribute to Falko Ochsenknecht as an "impressive person and the most fascinating personality."

For Nina Menke (32), who played Sabrina, Ochsenknecht was "not just a colleague on 'Berlin - Tag & Nacht', but a friend." "He was super funny, always in a good mood. He entertained so many people," she reminisces on TikTok.

Alfio De Benedicts also passed away recently

The actors of "Berlin - Tag & Nacht" find some comfort in a thought. "At least the thought that our friend Alfio welcomed you up there is beautiful, although that's probably the wrong word for it," writes Mike actor Filip Nikolic (38). Alfio De Benedictis (1970-2023), who portrayed Fabrizio Di Marco on "BTN" for years and was good friends with Falko Ochsenknecht, passed away in December 2023. Like Ochsenknecht, he succumbed to a heart attack.
