In an incident that occurred only a few months later, while staying home alone with her dog, she heard a loud thud emanating from upstairs. Kurt wasn't around at the time, and she found out the following day that this noise had signaled yet another attempted burglary. Hawn did not divulge any more information regarding these incidents.
