Gold Rihanna is making people want to dance

As once Bond girl Shirley Eaton did in the 007 classic "Goldfinger": Rihanna poses for a magazine cover, painted head to toe in gold. The sexy shoot stirs desires among her fans - but not just of an erotic nature.

What's gold and pretty sexy? Since the magazine "Perfect" published photos of its current cover star, the answer to this question is clear: Rihanna. The 36-year-old singer and successful entrepreneur stripped down to a skimpy gold bikini and high heels, and let herself be painted gold from head to toe. Fans of "Riri" might have to take a second look to recognize their star.

"The ultimate icon, outshining even Midas, is in her element," gushes "Perfect" on Instagram about the sexy shoot. King Midas, from Greek mythology, was known for turning everything he touched into gold. Rihanna has indeed had a golden touch with her makeup line and lingerie collections. However, her fans have been waiting for new music since the release of her last album "Anti" in 2016.

Rihanna's 2012 hit "Diamond" also plays a role in the photoshoot. The superstar is not only seen as a golden girl but is also depicted with sparkling gemstones. In one photo, she seems to be crying a large, teardrop-shaped diamond. "With Rihanna, every tear shines brighter than a diamond," writes "Perfect".

Sexy photo, but what about new music?

Fans of the singer are thrilled by the photoshoot but quickly use the opportunity to remind Rihanna, more or less subtly, that they would also like her to deliver musically.

"Great photos. They seem to say 'album cover'," or "Could these perhaps be photos for an album cover? Or am I just hallucinating?" are two such comments that mix enthusiasm for the sexy golden girl with genuine fan frustration.

Rihanna's latest golden-themed photoshoot for "Perfect" magazine is reminiscent of Shirley Eaton's iconic role in "Goldfinger." Recent social media posts suggest that Rihanna's fans are eagerly anticipating new music, hoping that the golden theme might signal an upcoming album.

Rihanna's passion for gold extends beyond her photoshoots; her successful makeup and lingerie lines are testaments to her golden touch. The fans, however, are eagerly awaiting her musical comeback since her last album "Anti" in 2016.
