GNTM winner Kim Hnizdo even beguiles the British
Do you still remember Kim Hnizdo? It's been seven years since the Hessian was crowned the winner of "Germany's next Topmodel". For those who may have already forgotten her, she is now being forcefully recalled. And even the British won't forget her in a hurry.
She is even attracting international attention. The British newspaper "Daily Mail", for example, is also reporting enthusiastically about Kim Hnizdo, who was the winner of Heidi Klum's casting show "Germany's next Topmodel" (GNTM) in 2016.
The reason is Hnizdo's daring appearance on the red carpet at London's Royal Albert Hall. For the British Fashion Awards 2023, the German model wore a nude-colored, semi-sheer, slightly gathered, three-quarter-length and low-cut spaghetti strap dress.
Cleverly placed pink darts created the visual impression of underwear - bustier top and string pants. The Hessian-born model teamed this with a pink necklace and bracelet as well as nude-colored pumps. The 27-year-old now has long hair again - on GNTM she had to undergo a radical style change and part with her long hair.
16 prizes awarded
"She posed confidently on the red carpet with her hand on her hip. The celebrity turned and glanced back over her shoulder to ensure onlookers had a full view of her outfit," writes the British daily.
After the red carpet celebrity crush, 16 awards were presented. The nominees and winners of the awards are decided by an international jury made up of over 1000 industry experts.
The Model of the Year Award went to Paloma Elsesser from the USA. The Cultural Innovator Award went to musician Sam Smith. The Special Recognition Award went to Charlotte Tilbury. British poet Michaela Coel was presented with the Pandora Leader of Change Award by Pamela Anderson. Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow also presented one of the awards, the Outstanding Achievement Award to Valentino co-founder Giancarlo Giammetti.
