Geri Halliwell now prefers a different name than Horner.
After her marriage to Formula 1 team boss Christian Horner, Geri Halliwell is now known as Geri Horner. But in a clip for Dior, she's back to her old name – and amidst the controversy surrounding her husband's alleged harassment.
Ever since the wedding, Geri has been officially called Geri Horner. Her Instagram handle is Geri Halliwell Horner. But now she's introduced herself with her birth name in a Dior video.
The clip shows her wearing all white, starting with, "It's me, Geri, Geri Halliwell" - which translates to "I'm Geri Halliwell." She then drools over the brand's designs before taking her seat among the celebrities in the front row.
This comes amidst the accusations against her husband for allegedly inappropriate behavior towards a female employee. The woman brought the issue to the HR department of his team Red Bull and accused him of harassment. However, a Red Bull internal investigation cleared Horner of any wrongdoing. He has constantly denied the allegations. Geri has also remained supportive of her husband. They were spotted together at the Formula 1 race in Bahrain in early March. It's unclear why Geri used just her maiden name for the Dior clip.
Christian Horner and Geri got married in May 2015, and announced their engagement in November 2014. Their son was born in January 2017. She also brought her daughter from a previous relationship into the wedding.
