Sean Combs - Further serious accusations against the rapper
Rapper and music producer Sean Combs (54), also known as Diddy and Puff Daddy, is accused of raping a then 17-year-old high school student together with two other men. Several US media outlets, including CNN, have unanimously reported this, citing filed court documents.
The woman claims to have allegedly been the victim of a gang rape in 2003. She was given drugs and alcohol and taken by private jet to New York City, where the alleged assault took place in a studio.
She named Combs and Harve Pierre, the former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, a company founded by the rapper, as well as a third man. As a result, the woman has had to live with a "considerable emotional burden and feelings of shame" over the past 20 years. She is claiming damages in an undisclosed amount.
"Did none of the terrible things I am accused of"
According to US reports, three women had previously made accusations against Combs for alleged sexual assault. In November, the rapper and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura (37) reached an out-of-court settlement - just one day after the singer filed a civil lawsuit for abuse and rape. A lawyer for the accused Combs told the broadcaster in a statement that the settlement was "in no way an admission of wrongdoing".
"Enough is enough", a statement by Combs, which was published on Instagram and elsewhere, now reads. Over the past few weeks, he had silently watched as people tried to destroy his reputation and his legacy. "Disgusting accusations" had been made against him by people who, according to him, were only out to make a quick buck. He had "done none of the terrible things I have been accused of. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth."
