- Fresh presence in the RTL wilderness – and the query of the night

After David Ortega exited, his vacated spot on the RTL Dschungelcamp bed was quick to be filled by Elena Miras, a popular reality star, in the third episode of the Saturday RTL+ special "Showdown of Dschungel Legends". She proclaimed, "The best is yet to come."

Upon her arrival, the 32-year-old expressed some discontent with the bed situation, causing a bit of a commotion. However, some campmates had already given her a chilly welcome. Mola Adebisi, the host, commented, "I see a few alpha females here who are worried about their position."

This special 20th anniversary edition of "I'm a Star", originally aired in 2004, has undergone some changes. This time, the season is being aired during summer instead of the beginning of the year, the location is South Africa instead of Australia, and it's a reunion of "legends" from previous seasons, with RTL airing it pre-recorded.

Who would you chomp down on?

The evening's main question came from reality star Kader Loth. She inquired about the residents' preferences of who they would choose to eat in the camp. The initial pick was the oldest, actor Winfried Glatzeder (79).

Former footballer Thorsten Legat intervened: "You can't eat him, he's like an old bone." Former GZSZ star Eric Stehfest suggested an alternative: Kader.

Moderate grossness in the challenge

In the Dschungelprüfung, "Goodbye Germany" immigrant Danni Büchner and "Bachelor" contestant Georgina Fleur had to tackle the "compost station." Six stars were up for grabs with the gross factor being relatively moderate.

Reality star Gigi Birofio was already ravenous before the few acquired stars, stating, "I don't even want to procreate." The smuggled instant noodles and spices from Giulia Siegel didn't help. The moderator had secretly stashed her spice rack in her pillow - but got caught and had to return them. Unseasoned food isn't an option for the 49-year-old: "I haven't had anything."

Elena Miras found the television in the RTL Dschungelcamp to be her new home after filling David Ortega's vacant spot. Despite the chilly reception from some campmates, she expressed optimism, saying, "The best is yet to come on this television screen."

During the evening's question round, reality star Kader Loth brought up the topic of who the residents would choose to eat in the camp, sparking discussions among the contestants, but no one suggested watching someone on the television instead.
