French prison van face attack.
Two cops were killed and three individuals injured during a prison transport assault in northern France. The culprits and the prisoner managed to escape, according to numerous news outlets.
The incident occurred at a toll station in Eure earlier today, where a shootout ensued. The customer managed to escape along with the assailants, and their identity has yet to be disclosed. A police helicopter is currently scanning the area for potential leads.
Justice Minister Éric Dupond-Moretti expressed his condolences on social media, saying, "All my thoughts are with the victims, their families, and their colleagues."

The prison transporter involved in the attack carried two prisoners and a team of guards from France. Despite the attack, only the identities of the customer and the escaped individuals remain unknown.
