- Following his termination, the intoxicated dredger operator wreaks havoc, resulting in substantial property damage.

Dealing with his termination, a 49-year-old digger operator in Bavaria grabbed a bottle and then initiated a retaliatory rampage. Over a distance of around 200 meters, he wrecked cable conduits, concrete supports, and a signal facility. The estimated damages range from 30,000 to 50,000 euros, as reported by the Nuremberg Federal Police on Friday.

Dispute at the Construction Site

Following his dismissal, he made his way to the construction site, situated between Nuremberg and Würzburg, in his personal vehicle on a Thursday evening. It's claimed that he then damaged the structures using the excavator. It was only when his manager and a foreman intervened that he was halted.

They kept him in check until the authorities arrived. A breathalyzer test confirmed his intoxication. The Nuremberg Federal Police are currently investigating charges of property damage and destruction done in concert. The 49-year-old also faces charges for driving under the influence.

After being stopped at the construction site, the 49-year-old revealed his place of employment to be in Bavaria. Despite the intervention, his destructive rampage continued, affecting various structures in the area.
