Florian Silbereisen - Five new "Feste" shows are secured
Fans of Florian Silbereisen 's (42) shows can breathe a sigh of relief: the MDR Broadcasting Council has approved a contract extension for the presenter's "Feste" shows on ARD for the coming year. This means that five new "Feste" shows with the show host will be produced for Das Erste and the ARD Mediathek on behalf of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, MDR announced: At its meeting today (December 4, 2023), the Broadcasting Council "approved a one-year contract extension of the collaboration until December 31, 2024 for Das Erste Deutsche Fernsehen," it said.
"Schlagerchampions" with Florian Silbereisen already on in January
Viewers won't have to wait long for the next Silbereisen highlight. The first live show "Schlagerchampions" will be broadcast from Berlin on January 13, 2024, MDR also announced.
There had recently been some headlines about the contract. However, Klaus Brinkbäumer, MDR Program Director, is now pleased: "The festivals with Florian Silbereisen are innovative and have managed to attract many new viewers and retain their loyal fans at the same time." The "Feste" have thus become "a genuine multi-generational program and Florian Silbereisen a host who builds bridges between people with his shows". They are delighted that the MDR Broadcasting Council has given its approval and that the collaboration will continue. "And it's not just the audience of the first channel and the media library that can expect great entertainment: We will also broadcast all shows retrospectively on our popular third program."
Silbereisen welcomes the stars
It was only on Saturday evening (December 2) that Florian Silbereisen hosted his "Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights" for the 20th time on Ersten. In addition to German stars such as Barbara Schöneberger (49), Thomas Anders (60), Andrea Berg (57) and Roland Kaiser (71), the French world star Mireille Mathieu (77) was also a guest.
