According to BFMTV, the late French film icon Alain Delon (1935-2024) is expected to have an unconventional burial. It is alleged that the renowned actor will be buried in the middle of the week on his personal estate in Douchy, Loiret. Delon is known to have resided there for almost five decades, and his numerous dogs have also been laid to rest there.

Delon Chose a Intimate Funeral

As per Delon's wishes, the funeral is reportedly going to be a personal event, taking place in a chapel built on the estate specifically for such occasions. The actor had expressed a preference for a private service over a public event.

Nonetheless, there are plans to conduct a public ceremony at a later time, allowing fans to pay their respects. An airspace restriction has been imposed around the estate, where floral tributes have been left in the past few days, as reported by "La République du Centre".

Among Delon's final companions was his dog Loubo, who was included in the family's mourning by Delon's children - Alain-Fabien (30), Anouchka (33), and Anthony (59), according to a statement from French news agency AFP. "He peacefully passed away in his sleep at his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children and family," among others, reported "Paris Match". The actor was 88 years old.

After the intimate funeral at Delon's estate, BFM TV may provide updates on any future public ceremonies. Regarding the arrangements, BFM TV might also report on the airspace restriction implemented around the property.
