Fifty Cent is involved in creating a Netflix series centered around Diddy.

Hip-hop artist 50 Cent has declared his intention to make a documentary about Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was recently apprehended and imprisoned for a week. The film will concentrate on the accusations of sexual misconduct leveled against Combs.

50 Cent declared his plans for this documentary in December, and following Diddy's September 16th arrest in New York, industry publication "Variety" reported that the project has now found a home on Netflix. The rapper announced the news on his Instagram account, stating, "Remember when I told you about this strange stuff? You didn't believe me then. But now, I bet you do!" 50 Cent's reference to Diddy's notorious "Freak Offs" parties suggests that these events may be included in the documentary. It is claimed that Diddy, for these gatherings, would hire numerous prostitutes who were influenced by alcohol and drugs. The vast quantity of baby oil and lubricant discovered during a raid was likely intended for these parties. If the women failed to please Diddy in front of the camera, it is said that he became physically violent.

The documentary is currently in production, and it's unclear if it will retain its original title, "Diddy Do It?" (a nod to Combs' stage name and the query "Did He Do It?"). Alex Stapleton will direct the film, which will explore the accusations against Combs, encompassing his alleged sexual misconduct and abuse claims, as well as the recent extortion and sex trafficking accusations.

In a joint statement, 50 Cent and director Stapleton expressed, "This is a narrative with significant human impact. It's a complex narrative that stretches beyond just the headlines or clips you've seen thus far." They aim, among other objectives, "to give a voice to the voiceless and present truthful and intricate perspectives."

Beef goes way back

For a considerable time, 50 Cent has been one of Diddy's harshest critics. The animosity between the two stems back to the early 2000s, when 50 Cent implicated his fellow rapper in Notorious B.I.G.'s murder in the song "The Bomb." Diddy has always been suspected of ordering the murder of Tupac Shakur, which he denies. 50 Cent frequently insinuates Diddy's supposed homosexuality by referring to him as "fruity."

Following a rash of sexual violence allegations against Combs in November, which included legal action from singer Cassie, 50 Cent announced in early December that his label G-Unit would produce a docuseries. At that time, the rapper shared a clip on X featuring Diddy's industry colleague Mark Curry from Bad Boy Records, who claimed that Combs would drug champagne bottles before women drank from them. The proceeds from the documentary, according to 50 Cent, will benefit victims of sexual misconduct.

Diddy has remained in custody since his September 16th arrest. The court has twice refused him bail due to the gravity of the allegations. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 9. He is accused, among other things, of illegal sex trafficking, organized crime, and promoting prostitution.

The accusations against Diddy of sexual misconduct and abuse are a significant focus of the upcoming documentary, as highlighted by 50 Cent and director Alex Stapleton. They aim to provide a voice to the victims and present an in-depth perspective on the situation.

The series of alleged sexual misconduct claims against Diddy, including drug-spiking allegations, have been a recurring theme in 50 Cent's tirades against his longtime rival.
