Moderator Louis Klamroth (34) accompanied his father, actor Peter Lohmeyer (62), to the premiere of his new film "The Investigation" (Release date: July 25) on the red carpet in Berlin. The two made a noticeably relaxed appearance, with Papa Lohmeyer wearing a dark blue blazer over gray pants and a gray T-shirt, and his son pairing a beige pullover with olive green trousers. The two outfits were united by white sneakers.

Father and Son Three Times in Front of the Camera

Louis Klamroth, born in Hamburg, is the son of Peter Lohmeyer's long-term relationship with camera assistant Katrin Klamroth. He grew up with several siblings. The father-son duo have appeared together in front of the Camera three times: in "The Jerk" (2001), "The Miracle of Bern" (2003), and "Give Me Your Heart" (2010).

They have also walked on red carpets together on numerous occasions. For example, at the Producers' Festival of the German Producers Film & Television Association e.V. in July 2023 at the Tipi am Kanzleramt in Berlin, at the Berlin Opening Night by Gala & UFA in February 2020 in Berlin, or at the premiere of "Lindenberg! Make Your Thing" in early 2020 in Berlin.

Since 2016, Louis Klamroth has focused on moderating. In early 2023, he replaced Frank Plasberg (67) as the moderator of the talk show "hart aber fair" (Das Erste).

Theater Play Adaptation "The Investigation"

Acting legend Peter Lohmeyer stars in "The Investigation" alongside renowned colleagues and colleagues, including: Rainer Bock, Bernhard Schütz, Clemens Schick, Nicolette Krebitz, Karl Markovics, Christiane Paul, Andreas Pietschmann, Peter Schneider, Tom Wlaschiha, and many more.

The film is based on the eponymous theater play by the German-Swedish author Peter Weiss (1916-1982), which he developed using personal notes, newspaper articles, and protocols. The Frankfurt Auschwitz Trial, which took place from 1963 to 1965, is at the center of the court drama.

The world premiere of the Gerichtsdrama took place in June at the Filmfest München.
