Viewing figures - Farmers in love on RTL are hot on the heels of ZDF

RTL achieved strong ratings with "Bauer sucht Frau" on Monday evening. An average of 3.84 million viewers (14.8 percent) tuned in to Inka Bause's dating show. In the target group of 14 to 49-year-olds, which is particularly attractive for private broadcasters, "Bauer sucht Frau" was the primetime winner with a market share of 15.2 percent (810,000 viewers).

RTL came second in the overall audience from 8.15 pm. ZDF came out on top there with the comedy "Zwei Weihnachtsmänner sind einer zu viel" with Marie Burchard, Serkan Kaya and Joachim Król - 4.25 million (16.0 percent) tuned in.

Das Erste aired the animal documentary "Ein Jahr auf unserer Erde" - 2.42 million (9.0 percent) tuned in. This was followed by the ARD discussion show "Hart aber fair". Host Louis Klamroth had FDP defense politician Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann and ZDF correspondent Katrin Eigendorf in the studio under the motto "2023 - a year that teaches us to fear": 2.28 million (9.0 percent) wanted to watch the political talk show.

The special-interest channel ZDFneo offered the British crime thriller "Inspector Barnaby: Blood is thicker...". The film starring John Nettles, Daniel Casey and Jane Wymark was watched by 1.97 million (7.4 percent).

The Vox show "Die Höhle der Löwen" attracted 1.50 million viewers (6.5 percent). Kabel eins aired the US cult film "Pulp Fiction" with John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman - 680,000 people (3.0 percent) spent the evening watching it.

On Sat.1, 600,000 people (2.4 percent) watched "Die Comedy Märchenstunde". ProSieben had the report series "Jenke. Report. Künstliche Intelligenz: Viel Hoffnung, viel Gefahr und das große Geld" - which convinced 560,000 people (2.1 percent) to tune in. The RTLzwei social report "Deutschland - Deine Schulden" had 480,000 viewers (1.9 percent).
