The well-known actor Horst Janson ("Der Bastian", 88) experienced a mild stroke, as his wife Helgardt Hella Ruthardt (76) shared with the "Freizeit Revue". Shocking News: Experiencing a Stroke

"My husband suffered a mild stroke," Ruthardt reminisced. This news was a significant surprise for her. "He'd always had low blood pressure and was otherwise healthy," she said about her husband. In the hospital, they monitored his blood pressure, heart, and oxygen saturation. His status resulted in a gradual improvement and stabilization after several days.

"His vital signs were so strong that it could have been worse had they not been so robust," Ruthardt reiterated. Despite the dramatic turn of events, Janson showed some lucky fortune since his movements were unaffected. "Only his short-term memory didn't work," Ruthardt clarified. "But we'll bring that back."

Horst Janson has been married to Ruthardt since 1982 - this is his second marriage. Previously, he wed Monika Lundi (81), a film and television actress, in 1973. Their union lasted just three years.

Janson gained national recognition in Germany through television series such as "Salto Mortale" and "Der Bastian". Additionally, he was in international films with stars like Tony Curtis (1925-2010) and Richard Burton (1925-1984). Janson's most recent acting job occurred in 2021.
