Famed Disc Jockey Dario G Passes Away at 53 Years Old

"Back in 1998, Dario G's track "Carnaval de Paris" was a smash hit during the Football World Cup. Regrettably, the artist himself, known as Paul Spencer, bid farewell at the age of 53. As reported by the BBC and Sky News, his family announced his demise via an Instagram post. The message read, "With heavy hearts, we announce Paul Spencer's passing today. He stayed optimistic till the end but the battle was too much. He leaves a fantastic musical heritage and countless happy memories for many. Everyone who knew him will miss him deeply."

Just a year back, Spencer revealed on Instagram that he was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support spoke about his death, stating he had an incredible heart and had contributed a portion of his single "Savour The Miracle Of Life" proceeds to their organization in the past year. They mourned his loss, saying he would be missed by all who knew him.

Recently, roughly three weeks ago, Spencer updated his followers on his health via Instagram as well. He was hospitalized due to an infection but was now ecstatic to be discharged: "I'm out! At last! Anything fun happen outside in the last month? I know I've been overwhelmed with your support, love, and strength. And countless others battling the same. I hope and pray everyone gets their best shot. I thank you all." He felt he had the energy to savor the subsequent stages.

"Carnaval de Paris" was the unofficial tune for the 1998 Football World Cup

With his music project Dario G, the 53-year-old whipped up some significant dance anthems. "Carnaval de Paris" was produced for the 1998 Football World Cup and served as the unofficial anthem. At one point, the project was a trio that also released tunes like "Voices" and "Dream To Me," inspired by "Dreams" by The Cranberries."
