"Sadly, our dearest soulmate has suddenly left us," she wrote on July 2, 2022, alongside a photo of her friend on their shared TikTok account. With the announcement, she aimed to quell circulating rumors and appealed to the fans of the deceased, not to speculate further. "It's all bad enough and we can't handle it all yet," it continues.

A friend of Falko Ochsenknecht confirmed the death through RTL. "He died of heart failure. He was found dead in his Berlin apartment on Monday by his cleaning lady and the police," he reported. The Berlin police also confirmed the incident in response to RTL's inquiry: "There was an incident on Monday due to a suspicion of a tragic accident. We found a lifeless person in the apartment. The forensic investigation is ongoing," a spokesperson said.
