45th birthday of Stefanie Hertel - Exciting Facts about the Schlagersinger

Stefanie Hertel (45) is one of the most famous Schlagersingeres in Germany. While she enjoys showing different facets of herself professionally - such as with her family-Country band or as a Musical actor -, she values constancy in her personal life. For her 45th birthday on July 25, we have five facts that show how the pop music star ticks.

She has a passport stamp album

Stefanie Hertel is part of the proud circle of Zipfelpass holders. One receives this passport stamp album when they visit all four "corners" of Germany within four years: List in the north, Görlitz in the east, Oberstdorf in the south, and Selfkant in the west. Among the thousands who had the corresponding stamps issued by the Zipfelbund, there are also numerous prominent figures and politicians, who of course travel a lot for their jobs. Besides Hertel, this also includes actors Wolfgang Stumph (78), moderator Jürgen von der Lippe (75), and comedian Otto (76).

She is a passionate herb witch

As a counterbalance to her many engagements throughout the republic, the now 45-year-old prefers to spend time outdoors. She likely inherited her love of nature from her grandmother Erna, who lived directly in the forest and passed on to her granddaughter a vast knowledge of plants and herbs. Hertel enjoys collecting healing plants and turning them into delicacies or ointments in her free time at her chosen residence in the Chiemgau. She recently compiled her rich experience in this field into a book. "The Wonderful World of Herbs" was published in February. In interviews, she freely admitted, "I've always been a little herb witch."

She celebrated a rose wedding with her second husband

In contrast to her famous ex-husband Stefan Mross (48), who after the separation in 2011 had to endure two failed marriages, peace has returned to Hertel's private life. Shortly after the divorce from Mross, she began a relationship with the Austrian musician Lanny Lanner (49). On April 20, 2014, the pair tied the knot for life - and seem just as happy ten years later as ever. To her rose wedding, she sent him a digital love declaration: "Love is... 10 wonderful years you and I. I love you", wrote the singer next to a picture of them looking intimately at each other and, of course, with their dogs on a walk. The couple, who have no common children, also make a living together musically. They form the Country-Band More than Words with Hertel's daughter Johanna (22) from her first marriage. The band goes on a big Christmas tour at the end of November.

She often wears jeans

One used to know the singer, who made her musical breakthrough at the age of 13 with her song "Über jedes Bacherl geht a Brückerl", mainly in elegant Dirndl dresses. Privately, she prefers it relaxed and uncomplicated. She is usually seen in jeans, which she sometimes even wears on stage. In the spring of 2015, she combined both fashion styles in a rocky Dirndl creation in denim look.
