David Friedrich (34) asked his girlfriend Sina Lacey (30) the question of a lifetime. He shared this news with his followers on Instagram on July 22nd. "She said yes. Life is short. We only think it's long. We never know how long we have left, so it's important to say 'I love you'", he wrote under his latest post.
The proposal apparently happened during their vacation in Tirol, as the pictures show. His newly engaged partner can be seen proudly showing off her engagement ring in front of a mountain panorama in one of the photos. "We had wonderful two weeks. Much love, the best friends, and everything carefree", Friedrich summarized the vacation, during which his partner also celebrated her birthday.
Happiness in Love after "The Bachelorette"
In 2017, David Friedrich, who is also known as a drummer for the band Electric Callboy, was still searching for his great love on TV. On "The Bachelorette," he received the last rose from Jessica Paszka (34, now Jessica Haller) and was in a relationship with her until the end of September 2017. From 2019 to early 2021, he was then in a relationship with Maxime Herbord (29), who became the protagonist of "The Bachelorette" herself shortly after their separation.
Since 2021, Sina Lacey (30) has been by Friedrich's side. The 30-year-old met him while working as a reporter for RTL, where she interviewed him.
