However, the organizers received heavy criticism this year for what is alleged to be "the worst festival of all time." Efforts are now underway to compile a more convincing line-up for the coming year.

This year, the artist selection of the organizers, with singer SZA as one of the main acts, did not go over well. In 2025, Eminem is scheduled to be the headliner to calm the nerves.
According to the "Daily Mail," discussions for the next year began immediately after the end of this year's festival. The Glastonbury organizers reportedly want to secure rap legend Eminem as the main act. "The bosses want Eminem - they hope he's their savior, since so few people saw SZA. They're all thumbs up that he says yes," a source from the British newspaper explained. Work is already underway on a "bigger and better line-up" for 2025.
The festival could once again be celebrated from the 26th to the 30th of June. However, many festivalgoers were disappointed with the line-up this year. The criticism earned the event the moniker "worst festival of all time." The booking of R&B star SZA on the popular Sunday evening slot in particular drew confusion - in 2023, Elton John had sung there instead. SZA's performance could only attract few people to the stage.
Once again, Coldplay performed as headliners for the fifth time. Many considered this choice "boring," as the band had given their "same old, old hits" their best. Even frontman Chris Martin himself reportedly felt "embarrassed" that he was engaged as the headliner again and offered the organizers an alternative. Besides his band and SZA, Dua Lipa and Shania Twain were the other highlights.
