On July 4th, they celebrated their eighth anniversary. "Eight years?! Who would have thought?", wrote the actress next to a couple's photo on her Instagram account.
In the photo, the couple cuddles up to each other before a sunset. "I love you, Muffin. Living the dream with you is pretty cool", Kruger wrote in the caption to her partner. He seems to feel the same way, as he commented on the love declaration with: "You and me, Lady".
Engagement since 2021
Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus have been engaged since 2021. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel (56) on his talk show in October 2022, the "The Walking Dead" star revealed details about his impromptu proposal. Originally, he wanted to ask his love the question of all questions during a motorcycle tour - but the outing was canceled due to a thunderstorm.
"I felt bad that I hadn't done it and our daughter was sitting on my lap", Reedus recalled. So he asked his partner to hand him his boot, in which the engagement ring was hidden. "And then I proposed to her, and she started crying, and our daughter started crying - everyone was crying", he remembered the emotional moment.
The German actress and the American serial actor met each other in 2015 during the filming of the movie "Sky - The Space Within Me", in which they both took on leading roles. In March 2017, they made their relationship public, and a year later their common daughter was born. From his relationship with the Danish model Helena Christensen (55), Reedus has a son named Mingus (25).
