Edeka's "Knusperdinos" under recall due to potential metal presence.
Food manufacturer Paul Daut in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, North Rhine-Westphalia has initiated a recall for their Edeka "Knusperdinos" product due to potential metallic foreign bodies present in the packaging. As per the website "lebensmittelwarnung.de", the "Gut & Günstig Knusperdinos" (400 grams) packs with a best-before date of April 3, 2025 are the ones that have been affected.
The recalled product was distributed by Edeka in Bavaria, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein.

- Consumers who purchased the affected Edeka "Knusperdinos" in April are advised to carefully recall and check the best-before date, as metal parts were found in some MHD-packaged units.
- Paul Daut, the manufacturer, is actively investigating the issue with Metalparts in their production line, which might have caused the metallic contamination in the Edeka crunchy dinosaurs produced in April.
