- Duo attends the Paris Olympics
Actor John Travolta (70) and daughter Ella Bleu Travolta (24) didn't miss the chance to breathe in the Olympic atmosphere, joining many other stars who have done the same. On Saturday (3rd August), they watched from the Bercy Arena as US gymnastics star Simone Biles (27) shone in the vault event and secured another gold medal. While the sports action unfolded in Paris, the father-daughter duo opted for elegant outfits.
Accessory as a tribute to Paris
The "Grease" star wore a dark blue jacket with a light blue pocket square, paired with a black turtleneck, jeans, and a gold chain necklace. Before the arena, he posed for photographers with a black sunglasses. His daughter chose an elegant all-black look consisting of wide-leg pants and a crop top with thin straps. A black beret inspired by France and a black handbag with a gold chain handle completed the look.
John Travolta's daughter Ella Bleu is from his marriage to his late wife Kelly Preston (1962-2020). Their other children include son Benjamin (13) and their late son Jett (1992-2009). Kelly Preston passed away in July 2020 at the age of 57 from breast cancer. She was married to John Travolta since 1991. Their son Jett died in January 2009 at the age of 16 during a vacation in the Bahamas after suffering a seizure.
The close bond between John Travolta and his daughter was evident on his 70th birthday on 18th February. On Instagram, she wrote alongside a shared memory photo: "Happy birthday to the man who is always by my side and brings light and beauty into this world. I love you more than anything." In another post in mid-June, she wrote: "Happy Father's Day to my best friend, I love you so much, Papa."
Ella Bleu shared on Instagram for John's 70th birthday, "I'm not planning to miss a single post devoted to my father, as he's always by my side." On Father's Day, she expressed, "I'm not holding back my love for my father, he's my best friend and I cherish every moment with him."
