Ducati Panigale V4 - new generation with world premiere
Ducati has comprehensively revised its street supersport bike, the Panigale V4, achieving new benchmarks in performance and weight. The bike also introduces the world's first innovative Brembo brake pads, which are lighter and more powerful.
The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has unveiled a new generation of its street superbike, the Panigale V4. The 2025 version of the Italian tech icon retains its 1103 cc V4 engine, but with updates. Emissions have been improved to Euro 5+, with a slight increase in power to 159.8 kW/216 PS at 13,500 rpm. The maximum torque of 121 Nm is reached at 11,250 rpm. Ducati has also managed to reduce the bike's weight by a total of two kilograms; without fuel in the 17-liter tank, it weighs 191 kilograms.
Many components of the Panigale V4 are derived from MotoGP factory racers, including the new, lighter front frame and the new swingarm. It is a two-arm design that still allows the muffler to be placed below the engine. In combination with the forged rear wheel, the entire rear suspension weighs 2.7 kg less than the previous model, while also achieving better stiffness values.
World-first: New Brembo brake pads
The new Panigale V4 is the first motorcycle in the world to be equipped with the new "Hypure TM" brake pads from Brembo. These are said to be 60 grams lighter per pair and more powerful. All driving assistance systems have been newly applied.
The cockpit's control center in the style of a racing motorcycle is also new. The diagonal measures 6.9 inches, the format is 8:3. The glass surface uses optical bonding technology for optimal readability. The display now also shows a "g-meter" (real-time lateral and longitudinal acceleration), lean angle, and current power and torque values.
Design inspired by Ducati legend
The design of the new Panigale V4 is inspired by the legendary Ducati 916. For the first time, aerodynamic elements like winglets are not attached to the finished bodywork, but are an integral design element. The new fairing reduces air resistance by four percent and is also said to better protect the rider.
The new Ducati Panigale is expected to arrive at dealers in September; the Panigale V4 starts at €27,790, and the V4 S at €34,790. The Panigale V4 R remains in the program at €43,990.
The new Panigale V4, with its updated components and lighter weight, is now equipped with motorcycles, specifically featuring the world's first innovative Brembo brake pads, which are both lighter and more powerful. These advancements will undoubtedly enhance the riding experience for Ducati enthusiasts.
The Panigale V4 series, including the V4, V4 S, and the iconic V4 R, all feature motorcycles with beavailable at dealerships in September, offering a new level of performance and design inspired by the legendary Ducati 916.
