Radical beliefs or actions - Discriminatory comments made at school gathering in a boarding institution.
Per the Schleswig-Holstein government's Department of Education, students attending a boarding school were said to have used racial slurs during a party. At a gathering on Thursday, minors sung racist lyrics to Gigi D'Agostino's well-known song, "L'amour toujours," which is over 20 years old.
Due to this, the instructors called an end to the gathering and instructed the kids to retire for the night. The ministry has tasked the school's directing body with conducting an inquiry as a result. The boarding school is slated to provide a statement on the matter on Monday.
The education minister, Karin Prien of the CDU, stated, "It must be abundantly clear to all pupils that such slogans are not a joke to sing." Frivolity or even alcoholic intake cannot justify racist chants. Prien was distressed by the potential for imitation: "Young people have always tested social boundaries." Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to engage in discussions with youths and educate them about the gravity of such lyrics.
This situation is similar to the one involving a scandal at an Easter gathering at an elite establishment on Sylt. A widely shared video on social media depicted young people yelling "Ausländer raus" and "Deutschland den Deutschen" to Gigi D'Agostino's "Ausländer raus" music. Law enforcement is examining the case. There have been multiple occurrences recently in which Nazi slogans were uttered during the same song, like in Bavaria and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
