Music show - Disappointed Kaulitz brothers: surprises on "The Voice"
The Voice of Germany's favorites die: In a dramatic and high-class semi-final of the Sat.1 music show, Irish singer Ronan Keating (46) and presenter Giovanni Zarrella (45) emerged as the winners. By contrast, there were disappointed faces among their younger colleagues Bill and Tom Kaulitz (34) and rapper Shirin David (28) late on Friday evening.
In the team of the Tokio Hotel twins, who went into the live show with five talents, only Malou Lovis Kreyelkamp (24) from Cologne came out on top in the viewer voting. Of the four candidates, David only got Joy Esquivias (26) from Mannheim into the final.
With rocker Egon Herrnleben (40) from Bamberg and Emely Myles (33), who lives in Austria, Keating still has two chances to win. Zarrella was able to save his only remaining talent, Desirey Sarpong Agyemang (21) from Duisburg, for the final show and could hardly believe his luck.
Guest stars in the "Voice" final next Friday include Nico Santos, James Blunt and Emeli Sandé.
