Disagreements and Conflicts: Tense Atmosphere in the Renowned Rainforest

In the RTL forest, feathers are scattered. The originator should rejoice: The strategy of housing renowned quarrelsome individuals and theatrical personalities from previous seasons within a camp appears to be successful.

The celebrities in the RTL jungle camp haven't even finished a week yet, but by day five, tempers are starting to flare. The fifth episode on RTL+ saw no eliminations, but there was plenty of drama.

In the fifth episode of the "Showdown of Jungle Legends" season, tempers ran high among the female reality stars. Giulia Siegel found herself at odds with Daniela "Danni" Büchner and Kader Loth. The latter two were irritated by Siegel's fiery attitude (Büchner: "We all use the same toilet, so there's no need for that kind of behavior").

Elena Miras got involved, criticizing Siegel for breaking the rules by sharing cigarettes with her fellow campers. Hanka Rackwitz had a troubled night, and the whole camp felt it. Finally, Georgina Fleur broke down in tears, feeling undervalued by everyone else. "They're driving me up the wall in the mornings. They're so insane," she cried tearfully.

The first treasure hunt of the season didn't lift the campers' spirits. At first, reality TV veteran Loth and host Mola Adebisi secured the coveted treasure chest in an angling game. However, the entire camp failed the final math problem ("How many minutes are in a week?"), resulting in no rewards for the group. They had to rely on the outcome of the jungle trial for calorie refills.

The day's trial, "Cliffhanger," combined several classic jungle camp challenges: height, disgust, skill, and teamwork under pressure. The 32-year-old Miras, who had previously expressed her fear of heights, climbed a rock wall with trembling hands and collected hidden stars from holes. Meanwhile, teammate Thorsten Legat, with his head in a cage full of corn snakes, used a pulley system to bring the coveted stars down. Despite the challenging trial, both gave their all and managed to collect four stars.

This new "I'm a Celebrity" season is a special 20th anniversary edition, taking place in South Africa. All the participants, whom RTL refers to as "legends," have appeared in previous seasons. The first German jungle camp season aired in 2004.

The stars collected during the challenging trial proved crucial for the camp's meals, as the calories from them were greatly needed. Giulia Siegel's fiery attitude even extended to the night sky, as she often spent time gazing at the stars, lost in thought.
