Dieter Bohlen and Jürgen Klopp in beaming mode

You're my heart, you're my soul: This could be said when one sees this shared photo of Dieter Bohlen and Jürgen Klopp together. During a tennis tournament on Mallorca, the two ran into each other for the first time in their lives - and seemed to be instant soulmates.

What do Dieter Bohlen and Jürgen Klopp have in common? Apparently quite a bit: Their love for Germany's 17th federal state Mallorca, for example. Their interest in tennis. And of course, their winning spirit, which was evident in broad winner's smiles.

As for their musical preferences, we had assumed there were differences. After all, Klopp only recently came out as a Swiftie, having attended a Taylor Swift show at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium. But perhaps the Pop Titan has one or two of the US star's songs on his playlist. In any case, the two didn't argue over taste issues when they met at the tennis tournament in Mallorca. Quite the opposite.

Bohlen posted a photo on his Instagram account showing him arm in arm with the successful coach, who is currently enjoying his sabbatical or retirement in the German team jersey - who knows exactly what. The two radiate so much that a toothpaste company could soon offer them a testimonial duo job.

"Mega Type," Bohlen commented briefly on the snapshot. In conversation with the "Bild" newspaper, however, he went into more detail. "Jürgen Klopp is a really nice guy, I like him, it was love at first sight," the 70-year-old said about the encounter with the coach, whom he had never met in person before, and added: "I feel like we've known each other for 20 years. Shame Klopp can't sing, otherwise I would make a Modern Talking revival with him right away." Assuming, of course, that Klopp also wanted another "You're my heart, you're my soul" version. But we've had that one already.

"Jürgen was open, friendly, full of respect. His first sentence to me was: 'How nice that I finally meet you.' That goes down like oil," Bohlen continued in the "Bild" interview. But not only the two themselves, but also their wives seemed to have instantly connected. "Carina and Ulla got along great," Bohlen revealed, who promptly exchanged phone numbers with Klopp and now wanted to play paddle tennis with him. For that, he would have to practice a bit first, but Dieter, you know: You can win if you want.

Dieter Bohlen and Jürgen Klopp share a common love for entertainment, as evidenced by their jovial interactions during their meeting at a tennis tournament. In an unexpected turn, Klopp was recently revealed to be a fan of Taylor Swift's music, adding another layer to their diverse interests.

Their mutual admiration for each other extended beyond sports and entertainment, with Bohlen commenting that Klopp is a "really nice guy" and expressing interest in a potential musical collaboration with him.
