At the age of 51 - Died "unexpectedly": Princely House in Liechtenstein mourns the loss of Prince Constantin
The Princely House of Liechtenstein is in mourning. Prince Constantin von und zu Liechtenstein (1972-2023) passed away "unexpectedly" in Vaduz on Tuesday, December 5. This was announced by the Princely House in an official statement on its website. The cause of death is not yet known.
Prince Constantin was the youngest son of the reigning Prince Hans-Adam II (78) and was seventh in line to the throne. He is survived by his wife, Princess Marie von und zu Liechtenstein, and their three children Prince Moritz (born in 2003), Princess Georgina (born in 2005) and Prince Benedikt (born in 2008).
Prince Constantin is 51 years old
Prince Constantin was born in March 1972 in the Swiss city of St. Gallen. He had a total of three siblings: heir to the throne Prince Alois (55), Prince Maximilian (54) and Princess Tatjana. Constantin went to school in Vaduz and began studying law at the Paris Lodron University in Salzburg after graduating from high school in 1991. He graduated in 1997.
Most recently, the deceased was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Liechtenstein Group AG and a member of the Board of Directors of Liechtenstein Group Holding AG. He had been married to his wife Marie since 1999.
