Desecrated grave of CDU politician Schäuble uncovered.
At sunrise, a mound of dirt is spotted at the final resting place of late CDU politician Wolfgang Schäuble in Offenburg. This unfortunate event took place shortly after he passed away in December.
According to local law enforcement and the public prosecutor's office, unknown individuals dug a hole of more than one meter deep during the night near Schäuble's grave. Surprisingly, they did not manage to reach his coffin.
Following this grave disturbance, an investigation into breaking the peace of the deceased was launched by the Offenburg police headquarters' criminal investigation department. The details surrounding the reason behind this heinous act remain unknown.
Schäuble was laid to rest in the Waldbach cemetery of his hometown, Offenburg, at the beginning of January, following his death during the Christmas period. During the morning, municipal workers discovered the disturbance on his grave. Evidence suggests that these anonymous individuals dug a cone-shaped hole, reaching a depth of approximately 1.20 meters.
The authorities are currently working together to find any potential witnesses who may have spotted anything suspicious during the night.
