From 1st July to 14th July, one of the most traditional tennis tournaments in the world takes place once again. During the tournament, many celebrities travel there, unwilling to miss the sporting spectacle. And in this year, some stars were already found on the first day.

One of the biggest stars who didn't want to miss the start was David Beckham (49). The former football professional and husband of Victoria Beckham (50) was spotted in Wimbledon not with his wife, but with his mother Sandra. Photos from the sports event show, among other things, the two of them sitting in the Royal Box, which is limited to 74 places.
Among the stars on day one were also the legendary British wildlife filmmaker Sir David Attenborough (98), singer Pixie Lott (33), presenter Jameela Jamil (38), singer Sir Cliff Richard (83) and his colleague James Blunt (50), who brought his wife Sofia with him. In a clip published on Wimbledon's Instagram profile, Attenborough is seen being greeted enthusiastically by the audience.
The British royals are usually popular visitors in Wimbledon - especially Princess Kate (42), who is known to be a big tennis fan and patron of the "All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club," which organizes the Championships. Whether she attends the tournament this year is not yet officially known. The wife of Prince William (42) made a public statement in March that she had cancer. She is in treatment and has taken few public engagements in the past few weeks.
The 'Wimbledon opener' saw various celebrities grace the event, including James Blunt, who attended with his wife Sofia. David Beckham, also present, was accompanied by his mother Sandra, making for a memorable sight in the Royal Box. Legendary figure Sir David Attenborough was warmly received by the audience, further highlighting the star-studded atmosphere of the 'Wimbledon Championships'. Despite the absence of official confirmation, the anticipation remains high for Princess Kate's potential visit, given her love for tennis and previous attendance at the event.
