Dave experiences the joy of fatherhood.
Typically, famous individuals celebrate the arrival of their kids with excitement and pride. Nevertheless, Foo Fighters' lead singer Dave Grohl's announcement appears a tad muted. The newborn's mother isn't his long-term partner, Jordyn Blum.
Dave Grohl, formerly of Nirvana and currently leading the Foo Fighters, has welcomed another child into his life. Unfortunately, Jordyn, his wife of 21 years, and mother to their three daughters aged 18, 15, and 10 years old, is not the child's mom. In a recent Instagram post, the 55-year-old shared, "I've become a father again recently to a new daughter, who I will love and support. She was born outside of marriage."
Grohl emphasized his love for his family, despite the situation, and expressed his intentions to regain their trust and forgive him. He thanked everyone for their understanding and respect for the involved parties. Remarkably, the comments section on his Instagram post is inaccessible. His management didn't provide further details.
Grohl tied the knot with Jordyn Blum, a renowned film and TV producer, as well as a former model, in 2003. Previously, from 1994 to 1997, he was married to photographer Jennifer Leigh Youngblood, citing infidelity as a contributing factor to their divorce.
Formed in 1994, the Foo Fighters gained traction following the demise of Nirvana's frontman, Kurt Cobain. Their long-time drummer and close friend, Taylor Hawkins, tragically passed away during a South American tour in 2022. Subsequently, the band released their eleventh studio album titled "But Here We Are" in 2023, addressing their personal struggles and challenges.
Grohl mentioned his affection for 'The entertainment' industry, expressing his eagerness to perform with Foo Fighters again, despite the recent events. In a separate interview, he shared his excitement about potentially collaborating with some of his favorite artists in the music scene.
