Hertfordshire - Daughters and wife killed by BBC commentator - police warn of crossbow man

Three women have become victims of a violent crime in Britain. They were severely injured on Tuesday evening and found dead shortly thereafter at a location north of London in Bushey, according to the Hertfordshire Police. The women, aged 25, 28, and 61, are the daughters and wife of BBC Sport commentator John Hunt.

The police believe this was a targeted attack and are looking for the suspect, 26-year-old Kyle C. He may still be in possession of a weapon – possibly a crossbow – warned investigators. Witnesses are asked to come forward with tips, and they cautioned against approaching the man if spotted.

A police officer called for the suspect at a press conference broadcast on television. Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson stated that besides the crossbow, other weapons could have been used.

The investigators were called to a house in the city of Bushey on Tuesday evening and found the women there. A neighbor reported to the British Press Association (PA) that they had heard screams. After that, chaos ensued, and the investigators blocked off the street.

The background of the case is currently unclear. "This is an incredibly serious incident for the families of the victims, and we ask that their privacy be respected while they come to terms with what has happened," said Detective Superintendent Rob Hall.

  1. The police appeal to the public for information about Kyle C, the suspect in the violent crime, urging anyone with tips to contact them, particularly if they've spotted him near a television set.
  2. The news of the tragic incident spread quickly across Great Britain, with many people tuning into television programs to follow updates about the case in London and Hertfordshire.
  3. The Hertfordshire Police have launched a public search for any potential evidence related to the crime, which took place in a quiet residential area north of London, attracting the attention of women's rights groups who demand improvements in public safety measures.
