Advice on the "neutral hello"
Her mother had asked her how she should greet her still-husband in front of the cameras after months of radio silence between the ex-couple, Katzenberger reported, adding that she had advised a "neutral hello". However, her mother replied that she didn't know "whether I could do it, whether I would stay so calm".
She hopes that Iris Klein will "somehow keep herself under control, as best she can, so that she doesn't throw knives", explained Katzenberger. She also hopes that her mother has a "slightly longer fuse than usual".
After all, her time on "Promi Big Brother" also offers the chance to "set the record straight and show people a different side," said Katzenberger. That is what she actually wants from her mother. Even when the two were ordered by "Big Brother" to buy food together for the residents in a mini supermarket, he mainly turned his back on her.
The two barely exchanged a word with each other during their first "Promi Big Brother" moments together. Iris Klein also left "the knives" behind and avoided - at least initially - a confrontation with her ex, to whom she has been married for 18 years.
