Daniela Katzenberger is planning to appear in Playboy.

I withdraw at 40

Daniela Katzenberger is planning to appear in Playboy.

Daniela Katzenberger has repeatedly turned down offers from "Playboy" in recent years, but now she's giving her fans hope. It could finally happen this autumn 2026, when she turns 40 and feels her time has come to pose for the magazine.

Naked and proud: Daniela Katzenberger wants to pose for "Playboy" after turning 40. "I want to do 'Playboy' at 40. I've always said no before, but at 40, I'll do it," the 37-year-old told "TV Digital" in an interview. "Firstly, because 40 is a tough age for women. Many are close to menopause and think everything will be horrible."

And secondly: "Because my career started with me wanting to do 'Playboy' and not succeeding. But since I've been successful, the German 'Playboy' has been asking me every year for 15 years. At 40, I'll say yes!" Her 40th birthday is in October 2026. New episodes of her reality show "Daniela Katzenberger" will air on Vox starting 6th September.

However, the native of Ludwigshafen is also clear about what she will never do: going into the RTL jungle camp. Her late father-in-law Costa Cordalis won the first season of the show, and her husband Lucas Cordalis participated in 2023. "RTL could offer me any amount of money, I would never do it. Because when I'm hungry, I become a diva. And I wouldn't want to put anyone through that," she said.

This time, Katzenberger wants to show more serious sides of herself on TV: "Like things related to social media. Some of it is far from funny, just think of the hate comments. I've always wanted to talk about that - because most people think 'Katzenberger' doesn't have any problems because of her fame and money."

She now sees her past decision to get her eyebrows tattooed as a youthful mistake: "There were things that were bad - like getting my eyebrows tattooed on my forehead. But even though it was bad, it was also good in the end - a bad-good mistake. And that's true for everything: If I made mistakes, they were always good for something."

Vox made Daniela Katzenberger a TV star. In 2015, the cult blonde switched her reality shows to RTLZWEI. With the new season, she's now returning to her old network.

Despite turning down offers from "Playboy" in the past, Daniela Katzenberger expresses her intent to pose for the magazine when she turns 40, as she believes her career started with that desire and the German "Playboy" has been asking her for 15 years. On a different note, Katzenberger has no interest in participating in RTL's jungle camp, even if offered an enormous sum, as she doesn't want to become a diva in such a setting.
