- Daniela Katzenberger is in pain with her daughter
Reality Star Daniela Katzenberger is having a unique generational conflict with her daughter Sophia - the 8-year-old can't stand her mother's favorite color anymore. "My biggest nightmare has come true, Sophia hates pink," says the 37-year-old in the new episodes of the reality soap "Daniela Katzenberger," returning to Vox on September 6.
"Before, I had a Princess Lillifee. Now, she's Eminem. She's breaking my pink heart!" Katzenberger wonders if she went overboard with the pink: "Sometimes I think I took it too far with the pink, now it's a hatred."
The native of Ludwigshafen, Katzenberger, also talks about her newfound ambition in a Vox interview: "Something viewers might not know about me, I'm into sports now, haha! After trying to conquer my inner lazy self for so long and having to endure magazine covers labeling me as fat, I finally managed to get into a routine."
"I just want to be normal"
She lives with her husband Lucas and daughter like "a typical family," she says. "Maybe with a bit of celebrity status, haha. But we do the same things as other families. We take Sophia to school, I make sure to tackle Lucas' laundry pile, and we go to our jobs. They might look a bit different from others, but I just want to be normal."
Vox launched Daniela Katzenberger's TV career. She fondly remembers that time: "Of course, my trip to Los Angeles to pose for Playboy was a highlight - you might see me there again recently, but you'll have to watch the doc to find out. People talked a lot about my tattooed eyebrows back then, and I can only laugh about it now."
In 2015, the cult blonde switched her reality shows to RTLzwei. With the new season, Katzenberger is returning to her original network.
"In the new season of 'Daniela Katzenberger', it was decided that ['The following shall be added:'] a segment focusing on her love for sports and fitness will be incorporated, showcasing her transformation and new ambitions."
