- Daniel Craig presents his new long-haired look
British actor Daniel Craig (56) was among the many stars who attended the Olympic Games in Paris. The celebrity guest was seen sporting a new look, which he is believed to have adopted for a film role.
As James Bond, the 007 agent he portrayed from 2006 to 2021, Craig was always seen on screen with short hair and a clean-shaven face. However, his look has changed recently. The latest photos from Paris show the film star with longer hair styled to the side and a grey stubble beard. Craig, who attended the Olympics as a brand ambassador and reportedly watched competitions in equestrian and skateboarding, according to the British "Daily Mail", is said to have adopted his completely changed appearance for a role.
Old Role, New Look
Production has begun on "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery", as announced by streaming service Netflix and director Rian Johnson (50) via Instagram and X in June. In the upcoming third installment of the "Knives Out" film series, Craig will reprise his legendary role as private detective Benoit Blanc - but with a completely new look. The long hair and three-day beard were already seen in a first-look image from the film. The black-and-white photo also showed that the detective remains faithful to his elegant style. Daniel Craig is seen wearing a suit with a waistcoat and tie, and holding a hat in his hand.
In addition to Craig, "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery" will feature Josh O'Connor (34), Glenn Close (77), Josh Brolin (56), Mila Kunis (40), and Jeremy Renner (53), among others. Rian Johnson is once again responsible for directing and writing, as he was for the first two films.
Further details about "Knives Out 3" are not yet known. A Netflix release is expected in 2025. The first film, "Knives Out: Murder Mystery", was released in 2019, and the second film, "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery", was released in 2022.
Daniel Craig's transformation for his new role in "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery" was noticed during the Olympic Games, as he attended the event with his significantly changed appearance. The Olympic Games served as a platform for the world to witness Craig's long hair and grey stubble beard, a stark contrast to his previous James Bond look, before the film's first-look image was released.
