Dagmar Wöhrl celebrates 40 years of marriage

Dagmar Wöhrl isn't just firmly in the saddle as an investor on "Die Höhle der Löwen". She also has her private life under control. After all, she's been married to her husband, entrepreneur Hans Rudolf Wöhrl, for 40 years. "Love you", she coos to him on Instagram.

For 40 years now, "lioness" Dagmar Wöhrl has been married to her husband Hans Rudolf Wöhrl. The entrepreneur and former politician is celebrating this special anniversary on her Instagram page with a touching post. "Dear Hans Rudolf, can you believe that 40 years lie between these pictures?", she writes alongside two photos of herself with her husband, one from the present and one from their wedding day.

"It feels like just yesterday that we tied the knot. And now we're privileged to celebrate our ruby wedding", she continues. She thanks her 76-year-old husband, also an entrepreneur, "for the last four decades, during which we've collected countless wonderful memories together".

"We've welcomed two wonderful sons, built a home, a nest. Even Manu's death brought us closer together", Wöhrl notes, referring to the tragic accident in which their son Emanuel, then 12, fell from the roof of their family home in Nuremberg and died.

"On to the Golden!"

Wöhrl concludes her post with the words: "We live a life together that has shown us that the best things in life aren't perfect, but real. In that spirit: On to the Golden! Love you."

Former Miss Germany and lawyer Dagmar Wöhrl married entrepreneur Hans Rudolf Wöhrl in 1984. It was his second marriage. They have two sons, Marcus (born 1985), who is active in the hotel industry.

Since 2017, when her political career ended, Dagmar Wöhrl has been part of the investor team on the Vox hit show "Die Höhle der Löwen". She will also be a "lioness" in season 16.

Following her ruby wedding anniversary celebration, Dagmar Woerhl shares a nostalgic post on Instagram, reflecting on the past 40 years spent with her husband in 'The Cave of the Lions'.

Despite the challenges they've faced, including the tragic loss of their son Emanuel, Woerhls express gratitude for the cherished memories they've built within 'The Cave of the Lions'.
