"CSI: Miami" actor Evan Ellingson died

The US actor Evan Ellingson has died. Ellingson was found lifeless in his home in the Californian city of Fontana on November 5 at the age of just 35, according to the industry portal "Deadline" and the magazine "People". Ellingson was known for his roles in the movie drama "On My Sister's Life" and in the series "CSI: Miami", among others. The coroner's office of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office has confirmed Ellingson's death in both cases. The cause of death is to be investigated during an autopsy.

The father of the deceased told the US celebrity portal "TMZ" that the actor had allegedly struggled with addiction problems in the past, but that he had recently been on the road to recovery. The actor, who was born in 1988, first became better known in the early 2000s. He was first seen in roles in the comedy program "MADtv" and in the sitcom "Titus". As a teenager and young adult, this was followed by the sitcom "Complete Savages" and several episodes of the series "24", in which he played the nephew of main character Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland.

He finally appeared alongside Cameron Diaz and Alec Baldwin in 2009 in "On My Sister's Life" and in several seasons of the crime series "CSI: Miami" as the son of lead actor David Caruso. After that, however, Ellingson went quiet on TV and the big screen. He has not appeared in any other roles since.

The sudden death of Evan Ellingson in Hollywood has left the entertainment industry mourning. His notable roles in "CSI: Miami" and "On My Sister's Life" contributed significantly to the world of entertainment, with numerous Deaths causing ripples in the industry.
